Hello from Alison Crawford (QSM), President of Poverty Bay Wairoa Federation of WI.
Would you like to belong to the largest women’s group in New Zealand with a long and proud history?
We would love you to join WI.
WI is a charitable organisation, much involved in supporting our local community by donating goods, catering and fundraising for local worthy causes, as well as supporting our national medical research and education awards. We take part in the national indoor bowls challenge bowls and enjoy being part of the entertainment at our national AGM which is held in a different part of the country each year. You can take part in what you want. There is no obligation to be involved in anything particular, just come along and enjoy our friendly fun meetings.
